I arrived early at the venue to secure a spot near the barrier, eager to be close to the stage. While waiting in line, a venue staff member announced that the bar was open, offering bracelets for those 21 and over to purchase drinks. Being under 21 was not an issue as you could still enter the bar. The option to escape the cold by going to the bar swayed my decision, so I left the line for some warmth. The bar staff was friendly, and I made new friends who I am still in touch with. We lined up inside the bar as the clock approached six, but had to wait about fifteen minutes before being allowed entry, which seemed fair given the crowd outside. Once inside, I received a bracelet for access to the pit near the stage. The excitement grew as Ghost Town took the stage, setting the crowd off with cheers. The performances by Ghost Town, Memphis Mayfire, and Yellowcard were all incredible. Yellowcard was the highlight for me, with the crowd enthusiastically singing along to every song. The concert ranked as my second best experience, with the top spot held by the black mass halloweekend on November 1st, featuring actual fire during the performance.
